25″ and 5/8 inches as of 5:15 PM on Saturday
Quincy Quarry News’ exclusive snow measurement

Quincy slammed with over twenty-five inches of snow.

While Quincy Quarry News’ ever-growing legions of loyal readers have experienced differing snow depths given windblown snow drifting, per Quincy Quarry’s official measurement as of shortly after sunset today, the Quarry’s exact snow depth total was twenty-five and five-eights inches.

With snow still falling, however now lightly as compared to earlier today, a final snowfall total of twenty-six or more inches is within the realm of possible by the time the storm winds down by, if not before, sunrise tomorrow.

In the meanwhile, both a Quincy Quarry News Citizen Weather Reporter and the Quarry’s media brethren at Boston 25 report that two snowplows were stuck in the snow on West Squantum Street in the Montclair neighborhood of Quincy early this evening.

UPDATE: Quincy comes in third with 30 inches of snow at its Blue Hills-based weather station.
