– News about Quincy Massachusetts from Quincy Quarry News.
Quincy City Hall closes early for New Year’s long holiday weekend.
City Hall closed today a day and a half before New Year’s Day and as it did before Christmas Day last week.
Needless to say, on top of generously so concurrently providing both back-to-back three and half-day both workweeks and long holiday weekends, one should beware of Pinocchio Walkbacker thus having a headstart on knocking back a few before the official end of this year as well as toasting the start of a new year.
After all, given his widely enough known ending up illegally parking in the landscaping in front of the Quincy Police headquarters, one thus has valid concerns for one’s own safety.
Per one of Quincy Quarry’s sources high but mostly low, Pinocchio apparently failed to successfully make a left turn onto Sea Street on his way to his then-residence after a purported long night.
Fortunately for Pinocchio, the Quincy Police Department appears to have graciously let things slide almost as much as he did on his way into the police headquarters’ landscaping.
Let’s make it a four-day workweek for city hall employees EVERY week.
Think of the savings!
Meaning the Hall of Nepotism had only a three-day workweek?
Porky,
Three and a HALF days.
Imagine, “do you know who I am?” And, “I was coming from blah blah bs.”
Do City Hall minions also get weeks off in February and April and spring break in March?
Ponder the irony of how our peerless mayor has to provide a day off to non-essential city workers on Martin Luther King Jr. Day next month …
Do they also get a short week for the Chinese New Year on February first?
Ironically, however much also no great surprise, the Koch Machine does not view Chinese New Year as day off from work holiday worthy.
The damage Koch has done continues unabated whether city hall is open or closed.
