Even more tough days ahead …

Governor Charlie Baker orders Massachusetts all primary and secondary schools closed for this school year and daycares until June 29.

In a move most everyone saw coming, Massachusetts Governor Charlies Baker announced today that a return to classrooms this academic school year would not be happening and so leaving already harried parents even more harried going forward – especially as summer camps and other summer youth programming activities are in limbo.

Granted, while many school districts and private schools have managed to upgrade their online snow day lesson plan software to facilitate remote learning, parents are still stuck with having to remember how to solve quadratic equations and other things long forgotten – If, that is, such things were ever learned in the first place.

Not as expected, however, was the ordered delay in reopening regular daycare facilities until no sooner than the end of June.
