Quincy Mayor Thomas P. Koch tries to clean up things after FoxRock steps in it in Quincy Center.

In the wake of the City Council calling for FoxRock to come before it, if not also calling out FoxRock, to explain why its development plans for Quincy Center keep changing or at least just exactly what it is planning to do at this point.

That and why the latest proposed plans do not include the long touted inclusion of a sizeable medical offices component to FoxRock’s redevelopment plans within the Quincy Center redevelopment district so as to mitigate the loss of local health care services when the Quincy Medical Center closed seven years ago.

While, admittedly, the various germane agreements had arguably more ways out for FoxRock that a colander has holes, these agreements’ plans to develop medical offices in Quincy Center were presented to the public as —- among other things — justification to turn over to FoxRock for basically but a dollar a fair chunk of city property that taxpayers also laid out serious money to clean up a hazmat mess in the property.

The Koch Maladministration justified the essentially free transfer of upwards of several acres of public property to a private owner as the land was said to be worthless.

So what, apparently, for the fact that the Koch Maladministration has spent so far undisclosed millions to clean up the site.

After all, why should anyone spend millions to clean up a piece of property said to be worthless, especially when the cost-effective way to deal with the pollution would be to just pave over the polluted ground and put it to some financial benefit as for-fee parking?

In turn, the propaganda ministry of the Koch Maladministration quickly rolled out yet another happy yak “pimpcast” podcast wherein the Mayor and his second banana Mark Carey set up the mayor up with one-liners of banalities.

Needless to say, these two homers tried to do all they could to change subjects.

Not that it worked with the heard, read, and seen it all before hard-bitten Quincy Quarry News crew.

That and you gotta love the new photoshopped to well past the max image of our peerless mayor for use as his pimpcast avatar.
