Quincy Quarry Weekly Fish Wrap: The quiet before the next tsunami

After suffering at least a few weeks of especially rough sledding for the Koch Machine, Kochsters tried to go to ground in recent days.

Needless to say, and as the ever-growing legions of loyal Quincy Quarry readers know all too well, such quietude is all but invariably staged so as to endeavor to set the stage for some especially serious Three Card Monte to be foisted by La Kocha Nostra.

Case in point, on top of Quincy Mayor Thomas P. Koch’s recent spendings of mostly taxpayer-funded monies to support his Edifice Complex jones Quincy Quarry News has just been dropped a dime, if not in fact a roll of dimes,  that yet another outsized and likely to be a primarily apartments complex is planned by yet another connected local real estate magnate.

How connected?

Wicked connected.

Additionally, this individual is among those with local real estate development interests who have already been whacked by the Massachusetts Office for Campaign and Political Finance for making illegal straw campaign contributions to Quincy Mayor Thomas P. Koch.  As such, these expensive hackings surely increased the expectations of those whacked for even more favorable sotto voce treatment.

In any event, to many this particular real estate investor is viewed as investing in property to then develop the venues purchased as places to expand his business operations.

Reality: Quincy Quarry News as well as other sage observers know that this investor’s ultimate game plan is to profitability engage in land banking the properties he buys by using them as venues for his business units until such time as redeveloping the underlying property for other uses makes more $en$e.

And for another reality, Quincy Quarry’s ever-growing legions of loyal readers can count on the Quarry to see that what all is planned will see be exposéd to the light of day in due course, especially what all has to be grifted to see it actually happen.
