After Q’ing up on delivering a fresh Fish Wrap last week given an overload of breaking badly bad news© mostly tied to the lead up to last week’s frantic sprucing up of Quincy Center in an advance of a feared General inspection, the Fish Wrap is back even if the fish so delivered stink.

In short, first Quincy’s peerless mayor ran amok with his hosting of several hundred thousand dollars in celebratory activities the eve before and on the day of the twentieth anniversary of 9/11.

Next up, with the help of a local Citizen Journalist, Quincy Quarry exposéd how Mayor Koch concurrently canceled this year’s ArtsFest over concerns about COVID even though ArtsFest is traditionally at least mostly held outdoors, weather depending,

And then when one might mistakenly things could not run any more amok in the Q, Quincy Quarry News’ media brethren at Boston 25 followed up the Quarry breaking the news of a Quincy resident state trooper whacking a Houghs Neck house with particulars on how this incident looks to have been endeavored to all but been broomed by the Quincy Police Department.

Then again, this would be far from the first time that certain among the Quincy Police Department have had the brass to let things slide.

And as for other things breaking badly on the every increasingly mean streets of Quincy, mother and child were struck by a motor vehicle while they were crossing the street in a crosswalk to reach a school bus stop.

Even more problematic, the accident occurred at an intersection well-known for traffic accidents, including at least one that was fatal and another wherein another suspected police officer driving under the influence whacked a house.

All in all, just yet another week in the Q …
