Quincy karaoke fans lose a place to sing.

A longtime Quincy karaoke haunt south of Quincy Center has dropped its mic – the Jazz Moon in the Kan Man Plaza is history.

In turn, at least some local karaoke aficionados are surely in mourning.

Then again, after someone stabled a female patron a while back, the Jazz Moon had pretty much gone dark.

Accordingly, as near as Quincy Quarry News can tell, North Quincy’s Cathay Pacific looks to be about it for local watering holes that offer karaoke singers with a place to sing both flat as well as off-key.

Way off-key.

And especially so after a few too many.

And then even more off-key after even more adult libations.

Then again, isn’t such the business model behind operating a karaoke bar?
