“GET A ROOM!”

Sun time fun time in Quincy!

From a longtime Quincy Quarry Undercover Citizen Investigative Reporter comes the latest story published in Quincy Quarry News.

Actually, more like three vignettes of Only in the Q sorts of stories.

While out on a late morning walk in Merrymount Park during this week’s run of picture-perfect weather come pictures of the same old same, reports along the lines of the same old same old, and an example of change in the Q from this Quincy Quarry Citizen Investigator.

First up, while this undercover investigator was hiking up from the general vicinity of the City of Quincy’s small boats dock on Black’s Creek to the Merrymount Park parking lot, this individual happened upon a couple at least a couple times older than teenaged.

The Quarry also knows …

No big deal other than that the male of the pair was backed up against a tree for what clearly appeared to be a different take on a little pre-Afternoon Delight for the two of them.

Then again, after a year of social distancing, the investigator could not blame them and so just moved along without saying anything.

After taking enough of a look to discern if one of the couple might be a certain local and so end up forever caught digitally as well as which would have so assured this Quarry story with boffo readership Q Score rating metrics, that is.

“Dispatch, I am already at the scene of the accident”

Unfortunately, no such luck; plus, there is never a cop around when you need one.

On the other hand, the investigator next happened upon a City of Quincy Building Maintenance Department employee parked in a part of the park far away from any local public building.

Granted, it was close enough to midday to have perhaps been time for this city worker in a city ride to be taking his half-hour lunch break even if no signs of food or even but merely a beverage could be seen.

Off-roading in a City of Quincy ride?

On the other hand, the city worker did as well as most ill-advisedly yell at the Quarry investigator and who thus snapped smartphone photos of city worker’s city ride parked behind a tree as well as off-road on the grass in a remote part of the park.

No clue, however, if the city worker was watching the aforementioned couple apparently getting busy or if he perhaps was looking to cruise the scene that follows.

In the final act in this three-scene Quincy Quarry story, the Quincy Quarry Citizen Investigator came upon a handful or so of generally younger adult males who appeared to know each other as well as that all of them were accompanied by their respective well-groomed as well as well-accessorized small dog(s).

Granted, this Quarry associate has literally been around the world multiple times as well as all but seen it all, never has this Quincy native ever seen what this individual saw in so short a period of time as well as occurring so close upon each other – other than the above-mentioned couple, that is.
