Winter storm watch issued for New England.

In time-honored fashion whenever a snowstorm is proving hard to forecast in advance, tomorrow into Saturday’s storm is looking to pile up deeper.

The key problem: the rain/snow line that mitigated Quincy’s being slammed as hard as more westerly Metro Boston communities during at least some of the recent snowstorms is looking to end up well offshore for this storm.

Further problematic, while this storm is not expected to be a nor’easter, it is expected to steadily drop snow starting tomorrow afternoon and then continuing to do so until Saturday morning.
