– Quincy Massachusetts News from Quincy Quarry News with commentary added.
Massachusetts Governor Baker announces plans for first responders to receive COVID-19 vaccinations starting next week as well as the impending rollout of an improved COVID-19 data dashboard.
Organizations with first responder personnel such as ambulance personnel, firefighters, and police must submit a completed personnel vaccination application and upon approval of the paperwork, vaccination of the employing organizations’ first responders will then be scheduled commencing no sooner than January 11.
Already, however, a number of Quincy firefighters and police officers cut into the vaccination line last month on New Year’s Eve and so commenced the two-shot COVID-19 vaccination process almost two weeks sooner than per the just promulgated official protocol announced today by Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker.
How, however, the Koch Maladministation managed to cut in line to score scarce doses of COVID-19 vaccine is as yet unknown.
At the same time, doing so is not much of a surprise as the Quincy Chief of Police is one of the mayor’s brothers-in-law as well as one of his nephews and assumed namesake is the head of the firefighters union local.
Regardless, Quincy Quarry knows that no one in Koch Machine would respond to inquiries from Quincy Quarry as to how it scored COVID-19 vaccine, much less to ask if Quincy Mayor Koch may also be among the Quincy firefighters and police officers already undergoing vaccination.
At the same time, Quincy Quarry fully expects that when other media might pose questions to the Koch Maladministration about this curious vaccine line jumping, Quincy Quarry fully expects that most likely Mayor Koch’s spokesmodel Pinocchio Walkbacker will assert that addressing personal health care information is proscribed under HIPPA regulations when in point of fact the question would be how did the City of Quincy see certain of its first responders jump the vaccination line.
Finally, as for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health’s plans to enhance its online COVID-19 data dashboard, one can only reasonably assume that such will go against the Koch Administration’s long ongoing preference to avoid transparency.
