Why It is Again Hard To Find Paper Towels.

COVID-19 is at the core of the problem but the problem is more than just people sitting on hoarded supplies of paper goods.

Supply chain problems are also impacting supplies.

Household paper products manufacturers as well as many other manufacturers design their production systems to be to lean operations.  Such systems typically limiting excess production capacity as well as rely on just in time supplying of needed production material supplies.

In the case of paper towel production, a very slight but essential production item can and has disrupted the production of paper towels.
