Boston driver “miraculously” escapes before car bursts into flames.
After weeks of the COVID-19 pandemic sucking up essentially all of the media oxygen of late and so choking local broadcast media from their usual focusing on car accidents and house fires, a twofer comes to the rescue for jonesing program directors.
Tuesday night in Dorchester a driver crashed his vehicle into a utility pole and so downed power lines then sparked a car fire.
Responding firefighters said that the driver “miraculously” escaped just before the car burst into flames as well as avoided electrocution from the downed power lines.
Tonight in Dorchester on New England and Southern Av. , a car crashed into a transformer pole causing it to dislodge from ground, coming down across the car and fence w/ live high powered lines. The driver was miraculously able to escape before car burst into flames. pic.twitter.com/4SbGGjq4p0
