– News about Quincy from Quincy Quarry News.

Quincy city employee denies access by the public to the public bathrooms at the new Hancock Garage.

Part 1 of a new series of exposés about both new and ongoing problem at the new $47 million city-owned garage.

A long time and loyal Quincy Quarry reader has advised the Quarry that a City of Quincy employee in the office of the new Hancock Parking Garage did not facilitate access to one of the two new and clearly marked public restrooms.

For reasons obvious, Quincy Quarry will not disclose the gender of the person denied access to one of the two bathrooms in the new garage, but the Quarry will note that the most likely hack hire city employee on duty at the garage cracked open the garage office door and then glowered at the person whom nature was calling and thus in need of a loo.

No word, however, was offered by the city employee if access was denied to protect perhaps scarce taxpayer paid for toilet paper or to over-zealously protect the suspected hack hire from possible exposure to COVID-19.
