– News about Quincy from Quincy Quarry News.
Quincy dusted by snow overnight and hit by near gale force winds.
Needless to say, after a few days of decent spring-like winter on the first few official days of spring, New England weather did its usual quick change.
Overnight Quincy was dusted with snow; fortunately, the snow did not last much past sunrise.
The overnight gale force winds, however, continued and are forecast to continue throughout what is expected to be both a chilly as well as wind-chilled day.
Tomorrow, however, the gusts are expected to abate as well as a mostly sunny day featuring temperatures upwards of sixty degrees is expected during the course of Sunday.
In turn, as well as of course as given the regional weather usual, local temperatures are expected to drop by an average of fifteen degrees over Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
