Green Mountain College to shutdown – yet another New England small college closes.

 

Green Mountain College will be closing its doors after graduation ceremonies this spring and so end the school’s 185 years of existence under various names.

 

As have those before it, this Vermont small college cited financial pressure arising from declining enrollment given the overall decline in college-age students as the reason why it will soon be closing.
