MBTA closing Wollaston Red Line Station; T-mageddon feared.
The MBTA will be closing Wollaston Red Line station tomorrow for (at least, ed.) twenty months for reconstruction.
To see what the T hopes is going to mitigate expected commuter chaos on both the Red Line as well as local streets, find out what the T has planned here.
.
While fortunately the recent and seemingly interminable frigid weather is forecast to warm up to a relatively balmy 33 degrees and so go above freezing for the first time in roughly two weeks, a light snow is expected late in the afternoon and into the evening just in time for the evening commute.
Also problematic is how local public schools will be reopening tomorrow after two days of Snow Days given last week’s bombogenesis blizzard.
All in all, one can thus only assume transportation chaos tomorrow.
As such, expect Quincy Quarry to monitor events and after having already duly briefing its local media brethren as to where best to expect likely great video ops.
That and how it would probably be best to be wearing body armor given that at least some commuters might go postal.
