New Jersey Governor Chris Christie was caught lounging on a closed state beach during budget standoff.

 

Unlike Massachusetts, New Jersey not only has a Governor’s mansion, it also has a Governor’s beach house.

As such, given an ongoing budget standoff with the New Jersey state legislation and as also the case in Massachusetts, Governor Christie opted to grab his beach towel and enjoy an extended Fourth of July holiday break on his own private island Sunday.

 

The reason for the such considerable privacy?

 

The Jersey Shore state park surrounding the New Jersey Governor’s beach house was closed to the public given the New Jersey budget crisis.
