Quincy Quarry Weekly Fish Wrap: April Showers Bring May Flowers!
Unfortunately, May downpours today as well as into tomorrow are likely to at least somewhat flood things here and there in the Q.

Speaking of floods, May is looking to be quite a month for Breaking Badly Bad News in the Q™.
For but starters, the ultimately City of Quincy and thus publicly owned Quincy Housing Authority gave its tenants a five day quit notice this week ordering them to remove their flower and other gardening enhancements around their residences or the housing authority would remove them.
Cleaner, maybe. Greener, not so much.

Adding insult to this grievous public relations injury to itself, the housing authority’s deadline is the day before Quincy Mayor Thomas P. Koch’s annual Cleaner Greener Quincy.
Obviously, someone didn’t get the memo.
Then again, Quincy Mayor Thomas P. Koch has initiated a full court press to secure almost $15 million in funding to undertake but his second phase of his likely to run $30 million in total spending to develop a but two acre park in front of City Hall.

Further Breaking Badly Bad News in the Q™ includes yet another longtime Quincy Center business going out of business as well as upcoming Quincy Quarry on the whining about the recent departure of a beloved other.
Making matters even worse, he wins going away on these skill sets when compared to anyone in City Hall.

Finally, for some well-deserved breaking badly bad news, Quincy’s hometown FlynnFlamer extraordinaire is scheduled for sentencing in federal court this coming Tuesday.
Needless to say, Quincy Quarry’s ever-growing legions of loyal readers can expect the Quarry to cover this story as only it has the stones to do.
