Quincy Quarry Weekly Fish Wrap: Q-up’s continue in the Q after the national election goes off the tracks
While many woke up Wednesday morning to be gobsmacked to find out that the Donald had pulled of the greatest as well as most unexpected election upset since Harry Truman in 1948, Quincy Quarry had a least a hint that this upset was at least perhaps on the horizon while next to no one else saw it coming.

After all, the Quarry kept suspecting that just maybe the Los Angeles Times/USC tracking poll might prove prescient given its innovative design rather than just being an odd duck outlier.
While the Quarry does not yet have a sense as to what to say about what comes next in Washington DC – at least nothing that it cares to post at this point, the Quarry has already reported that surely many local hacks were disappointed that a widely anticipated conga line of special elections are not going to happen and so allow some to move up to a better paying position at the public trough.
Then again, there is always the possibility of indictments opening up openings for political office advancement.

Also, while not exactly a new – much less unique – event, Quincy Mayor Thomas P. Koch is yet again enmeshed in a campaign finance scandal and so yet again will have to give away illegally provided campaign fund donations.
What was news about this yet again breaking badly news for Quincy’s campaign fund raising grifter nonpareil is that that latest campaign donations scandal was the second one to break badly upon him in little more than a week.
In short, as well as always, only Quincy Quarry has the stones to fully exposé local political scandals.
