Report on runaway Red Line train expected in week or two.
MBTA General Manager Frank DePaola said he expects a recommendation shortly regarding the operator involved in a driverless Red Line train last Thursday morning.
DePaola told the MBTA Fiscal and Management Control Board he expects a public report about the incident to be issued “within a matter of a week or two.”
In turn, Transportation Secretary Stephanie Pollack told reporters the personnel investigation would be “confidential,” and said if it is “proven that the operator inappropriately . . .
