Quincy tagging for Arts behind a yellow police line?

The work ranges from the criminal vandalism to efforts apparently commissioned with the City of Quincy’s at least tacit acceptance.
For example, a giant “Quincy” tagged on a side alley street in Quincy Center to help promote local temporary arts venue as well as help potential visitors to same find the back alley venue.
Most tagging, however, ranged from the to be expected vandalizing defacement of property to at least one giant and now former mural that did not threaten to overtake the mural masterworks of Diego Rivera.
This particular mural did, however, for a time upset some who did not enjoy a little musical/political graphic art – much less apparently have any appreciation for the First Amendment – hosted by the now also former Presidents Rock Club in the only city in United States of America to have been the birthplace of two US Presidents.
Unfortunately, this particular mural and arguably only major piece of non-statuary art on outdoor display in Quincy Center went the way of most attempts to improve Quincy Center.
Further troubling, what clean-up efforts are attempted are typically covered via efforts often less attractive than the purportedly offending art.
Then again, the City of Quincy has a long as well as well-deserved reputation for its often less than successful efforts as attempting to cover-up things as well as usually in ways less than artistic.
So too, it would appear, that the MBTA is not exactly aesthetically savvy with its cover-up efforts.
That or doing something as simply as uncovering its tracks as freezing as well as often stranded commuters discovered during the just barely record setting snowfall during the now thankfully past Winter of 2015.
Then again, graffiti in the Q as well as arguable outdoor artistic expression has long been ongoing and as documented in the following anonymous as well as old YouTube video from earlier on during the era of the Koch Maladministration.
In short, graffiti would appear to be as endemic in the Q as is the long history of craven local hackery.

Fantastic video production if I do say so myself!!
Graffiti is everywhere in Quincy. Along with the never ending road construction, Quincy Center looks like a cesspool!
Plus, the DPW can’t remove snow – what makes anyone believe they can do their jobs and remove the graffiti? Love the video!! Spot on!!!
Sky,
Now, now – be nice to cesspools.
