Quincy doubles public restroom capacity in Quincy Center!

Amazing, a clearly pressing public service need – and which Quincy Quarry has duly both featured as well as lauded previously – was enhanced as well as at one would like to hope was at modest expense for a change: Quincy’s apparently very first public restroom facilities in Quincy Center has doubled in capacity.

As the initial single hole facility was much appreciated by hard-working custodial staff at the nearby Crane Public Library given the library’s very limited and thus heavily abused facilities, this doubling of nearby capacity is likely twice as appreciated.

Public access inexplicably denied

At the same time, unfortunately, this positive development is now suffering the sort of all too typical Q-up’s that all but invariably hinder any positive development in Quincy; in this case, the facilities are now inexplicably locked up, even during daylight hours.

Quincy Quarry considered reaching out to Koch Maladministration Koch spokesmodel Chris “Pinnochio” Walkbacker for comment, but then it realized that this particular topic was way too ripe a fit for his usual practices.

That and it understands from its sources within City Hall that Walkbacker is presently all but overwhelmed at attempting to back the Koch Maladministration’s considerable posterior out of trouble over problems with it not exactly providing proper and accessible disabled access to City Hall.

Speaking of access, perhaps problems with the new public restrooms perhaps not being ADA-compliant explains why they are currently indisposed.

Expect Quincy Quarry to get to the bottom of this mess and then report on its findings in due course.

Say, right after it finishes reading the sports page.
