Bit often by dogs mayoral candidate also bit by the Love Bug?

Part Three in a looking likely to become an ongoing series.

Days before his Town of Attleboro mayoral campaign kickoff last summer, State Representation Paul Heroux (Democrat, Attleboro) expressed reservations about his electoral endeavor in an apparently available for public viewing Facebook post to an ex-girlfriend.

Per a since taken down Facebook post, Representative Paul Heroux is said to have posted the following plea of a sort to his ex:

“I have several job opportunities available to me in New York.  I don’t want to run for mayor.  I’d much rather go down there and rebuild with you.”

Another pol and the object of his attention

In an article published by the State House News Service last June following his Facebook posting faux pas, Heroux was quoted as saying that he had intended to post the message to her Facebook wall in a private way so only she could see it.

So much, it would appear, for the old-fashioned tradition of sending along a dozen long-stemmed red roses and a handwritten note.

Needless say, expect Quincy Quarry to continue to follow this ever-increasing curious mayoral election race as well as report on new developments as might be warranted if for no other reason that the City of Quincy is no longer having mayoral elections every two years and thus not so this otherwise local elections year.
