– News about Quincy MA from Quincy Quarry News
Quincy residents can hope to expect comparable snow removal as the City’s Chief Executive appears to have enjoyed during the Winter of 2015.
The only question is when they might.
While an as yet undetermined Hough’s Neck and other residential streets in the Q other than the well-plowed by dawn Sunday street of the Ward One City Councillor had yet to be plowed by mid-afternoon, at least certain blocks of Norfolk Downs in North Quincy were at least relatively well-cleared by midday Sunday.
Of particular note, not only was Hancock Street both plowed curb to curb in North Quincy, the side street for a local school that also fronts Hancock was similarly well-cleared.
So what if it was a parochial school appended to the Mayor’s parish church whereas local public school parents long on the ragged edge from Snow Days daze can only hope to their children’s schools similarly plowed sooner or probably later.
Expect Quincy Quarry to trudge through the snow so that it can continue to cover the Winter of 2015.
