Readily available to the public satellite images, published or otherwise readily accessible photos, CAD/CAM software, and even such things as manufacturers’ product specifications can facilitate independent reviews of all manner of international security concerns.

 

In turn, such efforts can result in high quality outside assessments by a much wider range of observers – even with a country as secretive as the Hermit Kingdom of North Korea.
