Massachusetts Trial Court Chief Financial Officer arrested in prostitution sting.

 

William J. Marchant, the chief financial officer of the Massachusetts Trial Court, was one of 10 men arrested in a recent prostitution sting conducted by the Boston Police Department’s Human Trafficking Unit.

 

Mr. Marchant was arraigned yesterday in the Central Division of Boston Municipal Court as well as has been placed on administrative leave.

On one hand, one would think someone in a senior trial court position would be able to know how not get stung.

 

And on the other hand, this breaking badly bad news™ for Mr. Marchant would appear to validate the opinions of at least some about the penchants and practices of the Massachusetts State Court system.
