– News about Quincy MA from Quincy Quarry News.
Quincy street signs are still down around the Q.
Although Coddington Hall’s long sideways as well as also long dead tree is finally no more, Quincy Quarry apparently still has innumerable downed streets signs to cover.
While one would like to hope that the signs knocked down last winter by well-paid snow removal contractors’ employees as well as said to be selectively well-compensated City of Quincy employees have been mostly repaired at this point, one still cannot be certain.

Even so, Quincy Quarry can still only properly give the City of Quincy the benefit of the doubt, however arguably undeserved, and that perhaps the latest spate of downed street signs is the result of the long ongoing reconstruction of Hancock Street in Quincy Center.
For example, potentially committed by frustrated drivers unable to readily find parking in Quincy Center.
Quincy Quarry considered reaching out to Koch Maladministration Koch spokesmodel Chris “Pinnochio”Walkbacker for comment, but decided not to bother as he is surely too busy dialing for dollars from the various snow hauling firms that made a killing in the Q last winter as well as the rest of usual suspects.

The Quarry did, however, endeavor to reach out to the City of Quincy’s side of the Hancock Street reconstruction project team.
Unfortunately, everyone was working on this project was apparently tied up seeing to it that expedited paving work be down between City Hall and Presidents Place in time for this weekend’s annual as well as ever-decreasingly attended Flag Day Parade and one of  embattled incumbent Mayor Koch’s favorite photo op events.

Regardless, Quincy Quarry would like to hope that the also scheduled Flag Day fireworks do not set off any fires or that any other majors fires do not occur during this also tacit Koch for Koch campaign event.
The reason for this hope: two of the but handful of Quincy Fire Department’s ladder trucks are expected to be tied most of Flag Day holding up a giant flag at Pageant Field.
In short, Samuel Johnson was right.
