Quincy COVID-19 Cases Decline But The Q Is Still Solidly In The Red Zone
For the first time since COVID rates declined over the summer in the wake of the first wave of infections hitting the fan last year, Quincy experienced a welcome decline in its number of infections. Unfortunately, the bad news is that Quincy’s testing positive percentage is roughly 7% higher than the statewide average.
Quincy City Council to Decide on Successor to fill Vacant City Council Seat Tonight
Ironically, a decade ago the City Council selected Francis Orlando to replace longtime Ward 2 Councillor Dan “Spanky” Raymondi when he resigned the seat in 2011 to take a very much city pension boosting position as the Commissioner of Public Works.
