The snow pile now known as the Mount Koch Glacier continues to hold up against the heat of spring’s impending climate change. In fact, per Quarry’s ever-growing network of local Citizen observers, it is the largest, if not also the last snow pile remaining in Quincy.

After a frigid weekend that surely turned it into a solid ice block, one can only reasonably suspect that the not very tall but definitely broad Mount Koch glacier in front of Quincy’s Old City Hall will last until St. Patricks Day later this week.
