Fortunately, the executive board’s vote last month was but advisory as a quorum of union members were not present to make a final vote and thus the executive board’s recommendation is looking at a likely mulligan vote at next Wednesday’s union meeting.
In the wake of this scandal, the Massachusetts Senate still has not updated its sexual harassment policies. Although a special committee made recommendations for changing Senate policies, changes have not yet been made.
Needless to say, surely numerous officials in other city and town halls across the length and breath of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts are not sleeping comfortably. …
