Five bombs threats were made. Three against Quincy High School and two against Point Webster Middle School.

Crime in Quincy was up by more than twice the state average increase in crime in 2022 from 2021. Even more troubling, violent crime in Quincy was roughly 36% higher than the statewide average on a per 100,000 population basis in 2022.
