Burning in Hell?

While Quincy Mayor Thomas Koch pretty much went to ground this past week in the wake of his repeatedly posing his bizarre views and profound denial about the Boston Roman Catholic Archdiocese child sexual abuse scandal, a former Koch Machine capo had a rough day in federal court in advance of even rougher days.
Tom “Steak Tips” Clasby who is said to have been Mayor Koch’s Best Man at his wedding requested was granted a continuance at his requested Rule 11 court hearing on Wednesday and during which he had been expected to plead out on multiple felony charges filed by what is left of the local United States Attorney’s office.
The charges?
That Steak Tips allegedly embezzled roughly $120,000 in city funds as documented by the FBI and was then charged with multiple federal felony counts.
With the continuance, however, at least Tips will likely not be sentenced until after the holidays even if at the risk of his likely engendering her honor’s rancor given that is was he who requested the hearing to plead out only to then instead seek a continuance which was granted.
