Only seagulls are more brazen

The Saturday before Father’s Day this year is Pigeon Appreciation Day.
In New York City anyway as well as which explains all sorts of things when it comes to what are actually rats with wings as well as New Yorkers themselves.
In fact, a lot of things.
A whole lot of things.
Ah yes, Pigeon Appreciation Day—because nothing says ‘celebration’ like honoring the flying rats that poop on your car and coo at 5 a.m. in the city’s most inconvenient spots. But hey, let’s give them credit: they’ve mastered the art of urban survival and public nuisance. Maybe next year we can honor the squirrels who steal our lunch and the seagulls that snatch our fries. Cheers to nature’s freeloaders!
