The long Labor Day weekend was off to a curious start per a Quincy Quarry News Citizen Police Scanner Monitor.

For example, Quincy police are said to have rolled to beef between neighbors at or at least near 250 Newbury Avenue around midnight Friday night.

While a likely modest incident, across the street at 249 Newbury Avenue is the residence of Quincy’s peerless mayor.

No word was heard, however, how the purported beef might have played out.

And as for another police call heard, someone apparently overdosed required seven does of Narcan to be revivied.  No word, however, how things played out for this person.
