Quincy’s August Moon Festival will be held for the thirty-seventh time this coming Sunday from 11 AM to 3 PM. 

Take in live entertainment and other amusements, shop for merch, and enjoy the food — especially the food!

This annual event is hosted by Quincy’s diverse range of Asian-Americans under the auspices of Quincy Asian Resources Incorporated and is for any and all to join in the celebration of the August Moon, a full moon that is a Blue Super Moon this year.

Even better, free entry with this and that available a la carte.

The only downside other than New England’s infamously fickle weather? 

Count on pandering politicians wandering about pressing the flesh. 

The good news for Quincy Quarry News personnel: local politicians and various other senior city officials avoid Quarry peeps as if they were infected with Monkey Pox.
