In a fast breaking breaking badly bad news© situation heard shortly after 9 AM this morning by a Quincy Quarry News Citizen Police Scanner Monitor, Quincy Police police chatter indicated that an armed robbery in Quincy had gone down earlier in the morning and that an apparently stolen getaway car has crashed into multiple other vehicles and other objects during a police pursuit.
The three suspects, however, disappeared on foot after their ride came to a halt..
While further details are unknown at this point, Quincy Quarry News’ ever-growing legions of loyal readers can count on the Quarry to continue to follow this story and then report updates when appropriate.

At two a m there were three police cars and it looked like two undercovers in some type of a white box truck in the parking lot of Dunkin’ Donuts on Washington Street in Quincy Point. The ambulance showed up with its lights out and then pulled away after talking to police… ??? Wonder what that was about? Lotta scary homeless in area with mental health issues and drug use around a lot….. Just wondered what happened… Concerned neighbor.

While multiple police cruisers at most any Dunkie’s during the graveyard shift is nothing out of the ordinary, it sounds as if you happened upon a response in force to a critical call for assistance as the white van you also saw was most likely the QPD’s mobile CSI and accident reconstruction vehicle.
Throw in no frantic activity by the crew of the ambulance also on the scene and then the ambulance’s low key departure from the scene suggests a likely drug overdose that also looks to have perhaps been a fatal given that the QPD’s CSI van looks to have been on the scene.
Also a huge tell, did you see any staties on the scene? They have jurisdiction for handling the processing fatal.
