— Quincy Massachusetts News by Quincy Quarry News – News, Opinion and Commentary
Honest, January 1st is National Hangover Day.
Not that New Year’s Day is any different from most any day in the Quincy Quarry News newsroom.
On the other hand, the foundering New England Patriots have driven many a fan to drink — serious two-fisted drinking — even if the team could find itself with the second pick in NFL’s upcoming new players draft if the Patriots lose their regular season and so end their fifteen game winning streak against the New York Jets.
Further bad news locally included a couple of motor vehicle strikes of those not cossetted in other motor vehicles.
The first whacking was of a bicyclist and the other a fatal pedestrian strike of a senior living in the 1000 Southern Artery senior living complex in Quincy Point.
The news of the week further broke badly.
For example, arguably the restaurant that spearheaded the improved cuisine scene in Quincy Center announced that it was calling it quits after sixteen years of operation.
In short, no more Fat Cat mac & cheese for thee and me.
And as for further breaking badly bad news©, this weekend is expected to feature the first consequential snow event in Metro Boston in a couple of years.
Even worse, a potentially similar to even larger storm may hit the fan next week.
In any event, Quincy Quarry is prepared to get out and about to cover this weekend’s storm.
Climate change notwithstanding, could we be looking a redeaux of 2015 this winter after an extended recent run of modest snowfall winters?
Needless to say, only time will tell even if Quincy Quarry News has already laid down its bets.
Pedialyte is a must!
Justiene,
True that!!! Pedialyte is the beverage of choice to wash down a slug of B-complex vitamins along with chowing on a couple of bananas for their potassium and to buffer the vitamins in one’s stomach.
