The fatal crash scene

The pedestrian who was struck by a motor vehicle yesterday morning first reported by Quincy Quarry News has subsequently been reported by the local tabloid as having died from his injuries.
The deceased was an eighty-five year old male and was pronounced deceased yesterday shortly after 12:30 pm at South Shore Hospital.
Update: Deceased pedestrian identified.
The driver of the motor vehicle who struck the deceased is a 63 year old male. The driver called 911 to report the crash and remained on the scene.
This tragic crash is under investigation and anyone with relevant information is urged to call the Quincy Police Department at 617-745-5824.
It’s sad to say this, but hopefully NOW the city will FINALLY do something about all these hits!!!
