In this instance, Accuweather is the latest weather forecasting news outlet to agree with Quincy Quarry’s call for a snowier winter this winter than recent winters past.
While not calling climate change into question, months ago Quincy Quarry did call for a return to close to historical average snowfall this coming winter.
After all, after at least several steps towards Global Warming in recent years, one can only reasonable expect that a step backwards was in order.
Unlike Accuweather’s extensive reliance on meteorological data, however, the Quarry largely based its forecast on Quincy Mayor Thomas P. Koch’s infamous Medusa Touch.
Trust me, it is not going to snow all that much this winter

In this latest instance, Mayor Koch cut the Fiscal Year 2024 Snow Removal budget lines for actual snow clearing related activities by 23% and thus is only asking for even more trouble.
Or, at the very least, more snow than expected.

Quincy Quarry can feel your pain, however, using — say — a pile of small ice crystals sounds more like a snow cone.
Like SNOW?
Or KOCH?
