A modest fire in the basement of the Massachusetts Statehouse on Tuesday forced its closure until the damage was sufficiently addressed to allow for its reopening today.
In turn, what with nothing gone either bad or good during this unplanned hiatus, Quincy Quarry cannot help but wonder if perhaps an extended vacay, if not a lengthy sabbatical, by the denizens of Beacon Hill might be a good thing.
