– News about Quincy Massachusetts from Quincy Quarry News
After what has been a hot run of things happening in Quincy, Quincy Quarry News’ Citizen Police Scanner monitor only had a few things to report today.
One was a hot police pursuit this morning on Beale Street; however, the police in hot pursuit lost the speeding sus[ect.
And as for the Quincy Fire Department, an engine company of hosers rolled early this early afternoon to rescue “a cat on a pole.”
Given a slow day so far, one can only assume that things will head up later today during the second and graveyard shifts.
Update: Shortly before the start of today’s second shift, a guy in truck was said to have waved a handgun at a female driver. Unclear, however, if this was a case of road rage or domestic violence as well as that the flasher fled Quincy over the Neponset Bridge.
God Bless our brave and hard-working heroes at the Quincy Police and Fire Departments.
It’s been rainy and overcast. Not to worry, the good weather will wake up the animals and they will then again roam freely.
