6/13 2PM Quincy Center #MBTA a 29y/o male demanded a cigarette from an adult couple & struck male victim w/a bottle. Subj also threatened to stab the fem victim. TPD offs arrested the subject,on scene,who also had several warrants outstanding for his arrest.

In this instance, the Universal Hub, nominally a Boston-centric news outlet, reported that yesterday around 2 PM a man allegedly demanded a cigarette from a couple waiting on the Red Line platform at Quincy Center and then hit the man with a bottle and threatened to stab the woman.
Transit Police then rapidly arrived on the scene and arrested the alleged bottle attacker on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (the bottle) as well as assault with intent to rob.
