Given that Quincy Quarry News has a plethora of sources in places both high but mostly low, so comes word that the City of Quincy department manager whom the Quarry exposéd previously as purportedly side hustling while on the City of Quincy’s clock will soon be “retiring.”
As the manager is only fifty-two and thus unable to receive pension benefits for at least a decade, one can only reasonably assume that the Koch Maladministration is endeavoring to bury things.
After all, the purported side hustler’s spouse is an even more senior city official who would surely be questioned, if not also pointedly so, if a proper outside investigation were to be undertaken.

Plus, as this year is an election year the last thing the Koch Machine would care to suffer is an ugly scandal seeing the light of day.
Unclear at this point, however, is if Quincy Quarry’s still exclusive exposé derailed the originally widely rumored plans to let the purported double dipping side hustling as well as even more slide.
Accordingly, Quincy Quarry’s ever-growing legions of loyal readers can count on the Quarry to continue to follow this story and then report on any new developments as might be appropriate.
Deductions should be taken out of his pension as to what he’s already cost the city tax payers, which is hundreds of thousands. Law suits, stolen city property and stolen time which he claims he had worked. Biased investigation done by the City of Quincy so even if the truth has been revealed we’ll never know. This is a person who has gone through personal files and stolen identities to open utility accounts and never paid and was unknown until a victim tried to open utility accounts on his own, stole money from subordinates workers who earned it, stolen thousands in equipment and materials. Taken workers on the city clock for work at his own home as well for his side business and gave them days off with pay to keep them quiet. So now he’s allowed to collect a pension and continue to intimidate until he leaves next month the employees who have had enough and have finally spoken up! This is BS. He should not be allowed to return at all, has already gone in on Monday and did his stare downs to the employees
Let’s not forget the sexual harassment claim that was kicked up to the state for some unexplained reason in January 2020. That alone should have been enough for termination

Also, don’t ignore how much time he spends at home tending to the puppy mill he and his boo run out of their home.
Mayor Koch should offer him a 30% raise if he has not done so already versus the 3% raises given to teachers, police and fire department personel to keep this City of Quincy department manager working hard on the job until he retires at the old age of 53.
Not to mention all the hush $$ the Mayor has paid former employees to keep quite because of the actions of this Director 🙄
There was another city employee that was tried in court and served time in Federal prison. Why isn’t this employee being investigated the same conduct??

My two cents on why this latest double dipper is not looking to get hit with a proper criminal investigation and charges then duly filed: he has long seen to it that the mayor’s parents’ primo plot in supposedly long full-up Mt. Wollaston Cemetery is more than just well-kept as well as that — and arguably far more importantly — this side hustler’s spouse is the City of Quincy’s Purchasing Agent.
