Quincy Quarry has just recovered from a major service disruption.

The disruption was caused by a fatal software glitch in a plug-in software module that was implemented during a recent server cloud service vendor migration.

Needless to say, as well as much to the Koch Maladministration’s chagrin, the Quincy Quarry online presence was thus not the result of an outside hack attack imposing a permanent denial of service upon the Quarry.  Plus, it is not as if the maladministration could itself stage such a hack attack as it does not itself have even merely but the chops to protect itself from denial of service attacks.

That and how the Koch Maladministration’s online shortcomings also include its woeful inability to merely but fend off a gobsmackingly simple successful Business Email Compromise (“BEC”) cyberheist scam of $3.5 million from the City of Quincy employee pension fund.

Unfortunately, a few recent Quincy Quarry features were likely lost in the cloud even as QQ Tech continues to see which, if any, of them might still perhaps be recovered.

Granted, some priceless Quincy Quarry work might so be lost, but at least what looks to perhaps be lost did not run anywhere near close to the $3.5 million lost from the City of Quincy employee pension fund by city operatives.

In particular, one of the currently MIA and likely to remain MIA recent Quincy Quarry News stories is the Quarry’s recent coverage of Quincy’s former and all but forgotten Number One Ward Heeler’s recent hiring as the Chief of Staph and director of operations for Braintrree Mayor Charles Kokoros.

Needless to say, anyone in the know enjoyed a serious laugh over this appointment as this ward heeler is woefully in over her head even if she is known for talking up a seemingly good game, game which typically does not hold up upon given reviews of instant replays and/or the whole of the game video, however.

With this Quincy Quarry story and likely a few others likely gone, the Quarry can thus only properly reiterate that the touts on the Quincy Quarry Gaming desk have set the over and under for her tenure on this job at three months as well as add that Quincy Quarry’s City Editor gives her six months before she might see a pink slip as Mayor Kokoras is facing a talented female challenger in this fall’s Braintree mayoral election
