Monday night got off to a bad start at a certain North Quincy supermarket per Quincy Quarry’s Citizen Police Radio Scanner Monitor.
The police radio chatter shortly before 8 PM tonight indicated that an armed Black male was threatening a manager at the supermarket.
Unclear, however, where was the police detail that Quincy Quarry News personnel have regularly seen on duty at this supermarket.
“Given forty pounds of rib roast or your life!”

Then again, maybe the detail takes Mondays off.
In any event, the alleged perp apparently fled the scene and shortly thereafter someone was apparently detained nearby.
Not clear, however, if the detained individual was the perp or if any money was taken from the supermarket.
Accordingly, Quincy Quarry’s ever-growing legions of loyal readers can count on the Quarry continuing to monitor this incident and report on any further information as might be appropriate..
