– News and commentary about Quincy Massachusetts from Quincy Quarry News
While out and about on the ever-increasingly mean streets of Quincy on Monday in the early afternoon well after lunchtime, Quincy Quarry personnel found a large limb from a city tree impeding traffic on a city street.
One can only reasonable suspect that high winds over the weekend broke and so downed the limb.
How long the limb has been down, however, WTQ knows.
At the same time, one can only reasonably suspect that perhaps city workers tasked to tree duty were too busy supervising outside contractors watering drought-stricken city trees given the still-ongoing drought to be able to see this limb cleared.
Needless to say, Quincy Quarry’s ever-growing legions of loyal readers can count on the Quarry to monitor this public safety concern and report back as appropriate.
Come on, man, you can drive around that downed tree limb and park that car you do not need elsewhere! Man up, buttercup!
Flakes,
Will you eat your words if the house where the tree limb fell belongs to a little old widow? Say also one whose kids have moved out the area.
