Jasiel Correia II, former Mayor of Fall River, ordered to report to federal prison on Friday
– News covered by Quincy Quarry News with commentary added.
Former Fall River mayor and now convicted federal felon Jasiel Correia II has to finally check in at a Club Fed in New Hampshire prison by noon on Friday for a six-year stay given his multiple felony convictions on charges tied to corruption, extortion, and fraud.
Correia was first scheduled to report to prison last fall but then scored seven delays only to then lose on his eighth try to remain out of prison while he pursues appeals of his convictions.
Given the short time window between the federal appellate court’s rejection of his latest request to delay his reporting to prison yesterday and instead ordering him to check into Club Fed in time for the lunch brunch buffet, such does not bode well for his appeals, however.
Further, barring Correia failing to report and/or the unlikely event of his appeal actually prevailing, the end would appear to be nigh for one of the longest and arguably the most-widely read series of Quincy Quarry stories.
End of this fun notwithstanding, Quincy Quarry’s evergrowing legions of loyal readers can rest assured that the Quarry is working hard to launch a new series of at least embarrassing exposés of its long favorite target.

I’m happy for him; the guy has got a bright future in prison.
More like popular. At least until new fresh meat comes along. Six years in stir will be hard on his boyish looks, etc.
