Charmin trims the number of sheets on its toilet paper rolls.

As if COVID-19 pandemic caused shortage of toilet paper and then price inflation on just about everything else that followed has not been bad enough, a penny-pinching Proctor & Gamble Charmin product manager has short-sheeted the squeezing experience of a roll of Charmin.

The only good news is that Proctor and Gamble has not further skimped by going with single-ply tissues.

At least not yet anyway.
