Quincy Sunday Snowstorm Snow Job Report.

Quincy Quarry News hit the ever-increasingly mean and now yet again also snow-covered streets of Quincy shortly before the start of Super Bowl LVI to survey the impact of the weekend snowstorm.

Needless to say, while Kim Jong Koch Plaza in front of Quincy’s two city halls was well-cleared down to the pavement, many residential streets were conversely as locals have long been accustomed to expecting.

At the same time, one of the most obvious surprising for a change things was how snow trucks were flying up and down main thoroughfares spreading salt in all but wild abandon so as to supplement the brine spread on almost every street in Quincy on Saturday.

While for the most part, the salting was proving effective although one could not help but wonder how well things would hold if the salting were to stop during the game as snowfall was forecast to continue overnight.

After all, the Super Bowl is the final game of the season for the NFL.

At the same time, salting of side streets did not appear to be anywhere near as comprehensive.

Then again, while cruising a certain street in North Quincy, Quincy Quarry News’ Photo Recon Team Six found one relatively narrow residential street, in particular, to be especially well-cleared, all things considered, as compared to a number of other residential streets in Quincy.
