At least the snow was cleared around the base

Quincy City Hall snows piles piled high.

Quincy Quarry News continues to work its way through its backlog of blizzard images gathered by its fearless Photo Recon Team Six and then working up Quincy Quarry stories to go with the pictures even if each of them tells a thousand words.

Granted, the City Hall VIP parking lot was cleared down to the pavement Sunday mid-morning.

Additionally, so too was most of the snow on the wide walkways along King Jong Koch Plaza.

At the same time, much of the snow so cleared was still piled up as opposed to quickly hauled away per past practice even though neighborhood streets were typically still barely plowed.

For example, note the twin bodacious mounds in front of old City Hall.

How far behind the curve is Snow Team Six at clearing away the piles piled up around City Hall?

While Quincy Quarry Photo Recon Team Six was taking pictures, a Snow Team Six team member first tried to hide behind a snow pile before then trying to make a break for it on what appears to be a new riding mini snowplow.

Apparently, all of the other equipment designated for use only at Kim Jung Koch Plaza were hors de combat.

Making a break for it

Either that or perhaps their operators were on a break.

Regardless, Quincy Quarry’s ever-growing legions of loyal readers can count on the Quarry to work this vein of frozen gold for all it is worth.

That and then some before eventually administering the coup de grâce.
